RED EARED SLIDERS  ( TRACHEMYS SCRIPTA ELEGANS )

Red Eared Sliders are easily recognised by the distinctive red stripe along each side of the head.

Males can grow to around 7"-9" in length and females to around 10"-12" in length.

They are a very hardy type and are easy to keep as pets and love to bask so a basking area is essential.
