YELLOW BELLIED SLIDERS  (TRACHEMYS SCRIPTA SCRIPTA )

The Yellow Bellied Slider is a hardy and easy to keep turtle, similar to the red eared turtle

They have yellow/white stripe markings on both sides of the head

Males tend to grow to around 5"-8" long, females to around 8"-13" long

Like red eared turtles they like to bask so a basking area is essential
